A bit about the exhibted artwork

In Aura of Becoming, a woman's gaze of wonder reveals her sense of calm yet alert, as if aware of her own unfolding. Around her neck, the serpent coils in quiet wisdom, on the roots binding her hands, the hummingbird sits in still observation, and the cocoons above her pulse with a silent promise of transformation. Seeds appear through the textural strokes in the background like a ritual offering, hinting at both decay and renewal. The word "aura" evokes the unseen field of energy, a spiritual fragrance, a presence. It radiates from the woman and the atmosphere of metamorphosis surrounding her. The snake is a symbol of shedding. Like the skin tightens on a snake before it outgrows it and sheds, so does the snake around her neck, leaving her confident in her renewal as she too will shed into a new version. The cocoons speak of waiting, and the hummingbird holds the now. This portrait does not capture a single identity but a continuous becoming, the wild and the intuitive. The painting invites viewers to step into their own liminal space, to listen to the continuous whisper of personal evolution, and to remember that beauty is often most alive in the spaces between stillness and change.
