Edwin VasquezSonora is a beautiful place. It's known for its beautiful roots and for its famous cultural / native dances featuring a deer. The Deer is a majestic animal in my opinion. The dance represents "sacrifice" and the regeneration of life. The dancer will wear the deer's head and the head is a very strong symbol of power. I also noticed in my travels that this animal is hunted as well. Americans will cross the border and take trips just to bring back home the head/ horns. Personal opinion of mine: There's a little irony seeing how Americans cross the country just to hunt these animals. I did notice that some natives do not like when their wildlife is hunted. Again, The painting is just a highlight of Sonora's culture and its deer.
