Joe Vaux

Joe paints what he likes. He is an American animator, and artist who works as a storyboard artist and animation director on TV show Family Guy. Vaux created the artwork for the character Goliath on the TV series Resident Alien. He lives in Culver City, California. His personal work is teeming with impish demons. His cheerful hellscapes are populated with lost souls, sharp toothed monstrosities, and swarms of wrong-doers. And yet, there's an innocence to all of this. Vaux's paintings are inspired by the joy and struggle that is our existence.

He loves storytelling and filling out environments. Conflict plays a huge role in most of his paintings but not every creature within is evil.
